Quick Answer: Which Potion When?
Frostbrew is both your heal and your damage coating — it is never wrong. Frost Vial and Oil Flask are pure damage coatings for the bow and sword respectively; carry the one that matches your lead weapon. Ember Salad is the only stamina tool and earns its slot exactly once, in the Magma Tyrant fight.
